Keeping oil temperatures in check in that environment requires a cooler that is both massively capable and completely reliable. Fluidyne built this one to do exactly that, and it shows in the size: at 23″ × 15″, this is the largest oil cooler in the Fluidyne lineup. Extruded aluminum tube construction throughout — the same technology behind Fluidyne’s NASCAR radiators and diesel lineup. No seams in the tube wall, no brazed core joints, no built-in failure points. Each tube is a single continuous aluminum extrusion, finished with premium TIG welds throughout. Built to survive the vibration, heat, and mechanical stress of Modified racing week after week, and equally at home in any street, marine, or industrial application where maximum cooling capacity is the requirement. Dual pass design — fluid travels the full length of the 23″ core, reverses direction, and exits where it entered. That configuration delivers approximately 20% greater heat rejection compared to a single pass unit of the same size, and combined with the sheer surface area of this core, puts it in a class of its own for raw cooling capacity. Two SPAL 9″ puller fans are included — SPAL being the OEM fan supplier for Ferrari, Lamborghini, and Porsche. Each fan moves 625 cfm for a combined 1,250 cfm of forced airflow. On a race car that means consistent oil temperatures regardless of speed or track position.
